sin-sin-sin.tumblr.com
When I don’t have new posts here, you should know that I’m still blogging everywhere (sin-stuff.com is changed for months, by the way — sometimes I update on Facebook & Twitter and think I’ve done the job already, but perhaps I should post here too — you could see almost all updates there); and that I tumblr on a daily an hourly basis (for 1-2 years it’s been the most updated blog); and that I have a page.
Ever dreamed of having Stendhal’s syndrome at HOME?

Have you ever dreamed of seeing Venus’ lips high-res, among the mess of the desk, on your computer screen?
The eyes could kill me tonight…

CensorSecret
Not sure if this is a secret, but the visual logic of it is very PostSecret, so maybe it’s one. Since it may not be posted there, I’m posting here in my own land.

Right, I sometimes post secrets to PostSecret but rarely see them up (now this is a secret). Maybe Frank thinks my secrets suck or maybe they will be included in one of those never-before-seen archives. Either way their absence from the Blogspot disappoints me, and probably a lot other secret senders (Blogsecret came at the age of Tumblr and claims, unlike PostSecret, to post every single secret - but on the submission page someone expressed it’s not true.) Come to think about it, if I want to build a highly “curated” Web space I would also filter out all mal-entries. But if it’s about sharing, shouldn’t it include more than one update of 20, 30 or so submissions per week?

Update: book & bookmark
Via you via me via wee wee bees

Shorter. Faster. Easier. More, more, more. Blogging has increasingly become re-blogging. Things are posted and re-posted so many times you hardly know the original source. Tumblr exemplifies this trend. Almost all stuff by all members is juicy, only that you may never know any detail of what’s blogged. And of course, I was too tempted not to open one! Or two (and definitely more)…
A prayer

With so many things posted online, it should be very reasonable for me to have a database bankruptcy complex. I always don’t believe God so I don’t think he will listen to me. For those who always talk to him and if you are nice enough, please say the above. Thanks.

I’ve blogged this, but I have to blog this again. I love Terence Koh and especially his website. Especially the “holes”. The magic bunny leads to total randomness, how lovely is that? Every entry makes you want to read the next. I have to keep licking. I mean, clicking.
Twitter for better

As my usual obsessive compulsive practice on the World Wide Web I opened Twitter accounts. Not one, not two, but three. One for completing updates in the super feed. The second for my own randomness, the common Twitter use. Another for Jimmy — he’s independent of me now.
At first I acted just like all of my friends who don’t care about joining Twitter. I thought it is silly to jot down every mundane thing that we do, but it turns out to be an interesting activity of recording daily life. I couldn’t deny its importance as I saw more people using and more discussions on its success. Not only personal Facebook-status-like entries are there, but also very useful information such as official (or unofficial) highlights of newspapers and organizations. Some users provide lines of thoughts and wisdom. It’s not only for the nosy, but also the intellectual and intelligent. Celebrities and politicians use it, meaning it is the right medium for focus of interest. It’s amazing what 140 characters (maximum of each post) can do. There are other micro-blogging sites, but with its sweet and simple interface, you simply have to follow Twitter.
