Trying hard
I’ve been trying to introduce a grid system to this blog after altering the ready-to-use template/theme. Alignments may not be exact but that’s the most I can do with CSS already. Without any knowledge of it, picking somewhere that seemed likely, changing and trying errors were the steps. Even building a grid with InDesign is difficult for me. A little reference or resemblance to any of the grids out there is not a crime. Plus it is common for grids of the same purpose to look similar because there are basic formats. It’s the proportions and how they are carried with other properties that are different.
And guess how I did some of the measurements? I have no sense of pixels. Centimetres do well, meaning a ruler on top of the screen works best. I know…I’m so Plastic Age, not quite Chip yet.
